ABSTRACT
This chapter presents the results on alkylation of benzene and toluene with 2-chloromethyl-gem-dichlorocyclopropane Ia and 2-(chloromethyl)- 2-methyl-gem-dichlorocyclopropane Ib in the presence of an aluminum
chloride catalyst. Additionally we investigated a reaction of substituted benzenes with 2-bromo-2-phenyl-gem-dichlorocyclopropane.
