ABSTRACT
Preservation and maintenance of existing infrastructure is a global concern that affects social and economic development in all countries. The efficient and intelligent management is a key factor to enhance the economic resources and investments. Aspects such as programming of new investments on roads, design of new performances on existing or new infrastructure facilities, optimization of the lifecycles of current ones; these should be carried out under the patterns of smart infrastructures, using the most recent technologies and customized software applications.
