ABSTRACT

In recent years, the rapid development of industry and agriculture had accelerated the pace of urbanization in the basin of Dongping Lake. Also industrial wastewater and sewage discharges in aquatic bodies have been increasing day by day (Amjad et al. 2013). Thus, eutrophication of lakes instilled little optimism in China (Wu et al. 2012). Eutrophication not only destroys the stability of ecological system, but also restricts human’s living standard and development of the economy (Suzame et al. 2012). Despite the threats posed by aquatic eutrophication, there is no routine, the scientific basis for controlling eutrophication of waters should be provided.
