ABSTRACT
The region around the Longyou Grottoes has a humid subtropical climate, with very high temperatures and high Relative Humidity (RH) in each rainy season. The meteorological data of Longyou has been averaged every month for 30 years, from 1971 through 2000. The temperature and RH are shown in Figure 2, and the precipitation is shown in Figure 3. The annual mean temperature is 17.3°C.
