ABSTRACT

To meet the growing production tasks, with the help of relevant research, Beijing Satellite Manufacturer first analyzed the characteristics of aerospace products and compared typical domestic production systems, such as the automated assembly line, Toyota production system, cell production, and Boeing parallel production, etc. Then they put forward methods to improve the spacecraft production system by flexible application of cell production and took the capacity, flexibility, and reliability improvement as basic principles for production system optimization. This work helped to accomplish the main production cells logic partition and cell construction and met the practical requirement for model production. To meet the new task requirements and enterprise further development, Beijing Satellite Manufacturer optimized the resource allocation and operating mechanism of cells by simulation and then established the production system, which is mainly featured in cell manufacturing and supports the research and production requirements of future satellites or spaceships.
