ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: For the poor adaptive ability of controllable phase compound excitation system in the ship power system, a two-dimensional cloud model of PID excitation is designed and applied to the excitation system of synchronous generator. Combining the cloud theory and fuzzy theory, PID parameters are self-tuned. Through the establishment of models of synchronous generator controllable phase compound brushless excitation system and the two-dimensional cloud model PID excitation controllable system, the Matlab is used to simulate various situations of the synchronous generator, such as sudden load on and off. The simulation of experiments shows that the two-dimensional cloud model PID excitation controllable system model has better robustness and better adaptability than the controllable phase compound brushless excitation system.
