ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The dielectric properties of electron irradiated poly(vinylidene fluoridetrifluoroethylene-chlorofloroethylene) [P(VDF-TrFE-CFE)] terpolymer thin films has been investigated. Compared with the observation of the non-irradiated terpolymer film, an additional dielectric loss peak with frequency dispersion is observed at higher temperature range for irradiated terpolymer films. This loss peak is suppressed with increasing dc bias and the temperature corresponding to it is independent of dc bias. Besides, the tunability decreases and the relaxor feature is enhanced for irradiated sample.
