ABSTRACT

The performance of x-type power system is improved along with the complexity of its structure, which brings forward new problems to its fault diagnosis, among which the fault type increases so rapidly that the repair personnel feel more and more difficult to master the tens of thousands of fault knowledge. However, the status quo of the fault diagnosis toward x-type power system is that the repair technicians still diagnose the faults according to the obtained fault phenomena with their experience or by consulting the handbook on faults[3]. To x-type power system with much fault knowledge, the method of fault diagnosis depending on the men’s memory or experience is inefficient and unable to meet the needs of the rapid diagnosis and maintenance in wartime. In order to locate the faults quickly, guide the maintenance, simplify the maintenance procedures and reduce unnecessary disassembly, the fault diagnosis system based on the fault tree for x-type power system need to be developed[1]. This system can solve the problems of detecting, locating and maintaining the faults, provide reliable technical support for x-type power system maintenance as well as the platform of fault diagnosis system for maintenance personnel training of the army. It is also important to improve the maintenance support ability of the power system.
