ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: Gram weight gauge can provide objective weight control guidance during the production of the coating textiles. Nowadays, the ray Gram weight gauge has been used in measuring the coating Gram weight of coating textiles, but it has the shortcomings: statistical error, radioactive hazard, expensiveness and others. To compensate for these shortcomings, the Gram weight measurement system based on infrared has been designed in general. Before designing the system, the physical structure of the coating textiles and the infrared spectra of the coating textiles have been studied in detail. The whole Gram weight measuring system includes two parts: mechanical system, and measuring and control system. Finally, through some preliminary experimental, infrared technology was initially validated to measure the coating Gram weight of the coating textiles.
