ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The paper studies single-phase smart meter’s reliability using the reliability prediction method and accelerated life test. It adopts the component stress method and reliability prediction handbook for electronic equipment in the reliability prediction, calculates the failure rate of each unit module and mean time to failure of the smart meter. According to IEC 62059-31, it designs accelerated life test scheme through enhancing temperature and humidity, and carries out accelerated life test using same smart meters. In the end, it analyzes test results of the reliability prediction method and accelerated life test.
