ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: A new shock isolation system with lattice material is proposed. The stiffness of the system is based on the stress-strain characteristic of the lattice material. The RungeKutta method is employed to analyze the performance of this shock isolation system when it suffered a shock excitation, and the maximum displacement and the maximum acceleration of the object are the main indexes of the performance. In the meantime, the energy transmissibility characteristic is calculated. The results show that stress plateau of the lattice material is beneficial to reduce the shock excitation.
