ABSTRACT: Characters of various Ti-containing compounds precipitated in ER50-G wire were studied in this research by using TEM, SEM, etc. testing methods. The curves of precipitation amount against temperature were deduced basing on the results of thermo dynamical calculations and phase analysis. The measures to control the precipitation behavior were raised and applied to production. Finally a ER50-G wire with good drawing performance was obtained.
