ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: In this article, a new decelerator design scheme based on the planetary roller screw is proposed, which has the characteristics of small friction, high efficiency, long life time, small volume, strong bearing capacity, etc. After introducing the working principle of above-mentioned new decelerator design, equivalent mechanism method is used to analyze the movement of main components in decelerator. The formulas are deduced for the design of structure parameters and transmission ratio. Then virtual prototype was produced in ADAMS environment for simulation. Finally, the simulation results verify the rationality of design scheme, research method, and analysis on movement characteristics.
