ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: In order to ensure the accuracy of the mechanism, an underwater cover opening mechanism based on an escaping device is presented in this paper. First, the characteristics, structure and working principle of the underwater covers are analyzed. The underwater cover opening mechanisms with different releasing devices are summarized. Then, according to the characteristic structure and the working process of the releasing device, the advantages and disadvantages of it are analyzed. The conceptual design is determined. Finally, the structural design for key components is completed. The results show that the design is feasible.
