ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: In the view of linear quadratic optimal control method exists insufficiency in designing the active suspension control, this paper based on the theory of linear quadratic optimal control method, putting forward a design method that puts a genetic algorithm and the linear quadratic together to design and optimize the active suspension controller, namely the automobile body vertical acceleration, automobile suspension dynamic schedule and wheel dynamic load as the control target. And to optimize the optimal control rules of vehicle active suspension, so as to improve the control effect of active suspension controller. In order to show the feasibility of the optimization method, the design is based on the automobile single wheel model of active suspension control strategy, the simulation results show that an active suspension based on the genetic algorithm for the improvement of car’s comfort and stability is significant.
