ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: In this paper, a coiled tubing small turbo drill design is proposed for coiled tubing in ultra-deep slim-hole drilling process, the presence of a conventional screw drill has poor temperature performance and on sensitive issues such as oil-based drilling fluids. By using the Quintic polynomial method to construct multiple-sectional linear turbine blades and by using the Bezier curve to link the leading and trailing edges of each section in order to transit the liner of each section we devised a small size, high efficiency three-dimensional Cascade turbo drill. The flow field simulation helps to explore the feasibility of using the three-dimensional modeling method Cascades.
