ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: It is an important research topic in remanufacturing field to investigate the fatigue property and make up the lack of the experimental data of FV520B. In this paper, fatigue phenomenon and data were obtained from the results of the Ultrasonic fatigue experiment. The fatigue phenomenon showed that the inclusions could lead to fatigue failure. And with the fatigue data (life and inclusion size), a life prediction model could be obtained by using a fitting algorithm, then the suitability of the model was verified by the comparison between experiment data and predicted life, and errors were in acceptable range. This model could be used to predict the fatigue life of FV520B and this not only made a contribution to the theoretical study of FV520B.
