ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: The Model-Based Definition (MBD) modeling technology is a highlight in the shipbuilding digital design and manufacturing, and also is the inevitable direction of future development of the shipbuilding industry. In this paper, the MBD data structure and the MBD data management methods for shipbuilding are presented, and the data classification is researched. And then, the MBD data management is also established, the process for shipbuilding of management is presented, and divided the management level into design level, process level and manufacturing level. To explain the approach more clearly, a practical of a ship axis is used as an illustration in this paper.
