ABSTRACT
In recent years, with the development of civil aviation and the increase in air traffic flow, the air traffic and surface traffic of aerodrome become more and more crowded, which is an important challenge for safety. In 1992, ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) put forward the concept of AMDB (Aerodrome Mapping Database) that aims to enhance the safety for aircraft operation near airports and improve the efficiency of aerodrome air traffic management, which Eurocontrol and FAA paid great attention to. As the AMDB technique developed gradually, JEPESSEN and GeoEye companies had released a kind of AMDB products.
