ABSTRACT

Second-generation Digital Video Broadcasting (DVBS2) via satellites has been in use since 8 years. In DVBS2 receiver, only after the frame synchronization is achieved can the receiver proceed to recover the coded information [2]. But frame synchronization is a widely recognized hard task prior to data demodulation and Forward Error Control (FEC) decoding [3], which is indispensable mainly for two reasons, the extremely low SNR and unknown carrier frequency.
