A.1 Fixed Displays
Research on fixed displays has been done for decades. Work in this area can be divided into two big groups: Work on single display systems, which deal mostly with effects of the size and position of the display; and work on multi-display environments, which explores effects of the number of displays, relative position between them, and comparison with single display setups. Many works also deal with the challenges of using multi-display environments, like the split-attention effect.
