ABSTRACT

This paper is focused on the impact of doubly fed induction generators on low frequency oscillations and the simulation of two-area four-generator power system integrated with doubly fed induction generators, which is organized as following. Section 2 introduces low frequency oscillations in a power system and wind power system. In section 3, the impact of doubly fed induction generators on low frequency oscillations is analyzed and the conclusion is verified by the simulation made in section 4. Section 5 presents the concluding remarks.
