ABSTRACT

Region, and in Khabarovsky Krai in particular, is to search the most rational variants of reanimation of new technogenic landscapes, to reveal that their recreation potential is still weakly used, and to study the possibilities of creation of the zone of rest in the lands disturbed by mining works. At the mining enterprises of the South Far East, including Khabarovsky Krai, such problem was not even set practically, which defines and supports the urgency of investigations. So the aim of our investigation was to evaluate the recreation-ecological potential of the mining-industrial technogenic territories of the former Kerbinsky mine as well as the contiguous recreation areas in the Amur River basin to specify the possible ways of the solution of the social-ecological problems. The aim defined the following tasks: 1. to analyze, generalize, and systematize the home and foreign experience and the patent information on this problem; 2. to reveal the specificity of the nature-climatic conditions of the study region; 3. to carry out the territory zoning of the mining-industrial development with regard to the ecological situation; and 4. to work out the proposals on the recreation organization including the industrial tourism on this territory with precious metal mining.
