ABSTRACT

Domestic scholars also have done a lot of research from different angles in different ways. Song, D.Y. & Lu, Z.B. (2009) adopted a “dual stage” LMDI method to do research on the influence factors of carbon emissions. Guo, C.X (2010) decomposed carbon emissions into GDP, economic structure, energy efficiency, energy consumption structure and coefficient of carbon emissions from the perspective of industry and region. Dai, X.W (2013) studied the implicit carbon emissions, and argued that the progress of the mode of production and life style was the most important driving factor to change carbon emissions. Wang, Y. Jia, J.J. Zhao, P. Cheng, X. & Sun, T (2014) used the LMDI method to analyze the influencing factors of Tianjin Carbon emissions, and carried out a scenario analysis to seek the appropriate carbon reduction policies. All these above studies have performed a thorough analysis on the influencing factors of carbon emissions or CO2 emissions at the national or regional level, and described the characteristics of carbon emissions and the main challenging problems well, which have an important reference value to the realization of the low-carbon economy. However, given that many regions of China have many significant differences, the existing literature about carbon emissions is not enough to reflect comprehensively the influencing factors.
