ABSTRACT
The basic mix proportion of ordinary concrete was designed as summarized in Table 2. According to the basic mix proportion, the first group D was used to compare the influence of Recycled concrete Aggregates (RA) on Recycled Aggregate Concrete (RAC) with a W/C ratio of 0.55 and a RA of 0%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80% and 100%, respectively, as the replacement of natural gravels, with each group correspondingly
named as D0, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7, D8 and D10 (Table 3). Another three groups, A, B and C, respectively, with different water/binder (W/B) ratios of 0.5, 0.55 and 0.6, were used to analyze the fly ash function on RAC. Each group includes four dosages (weight ratio) of fly ash as replacement of cement, i.e. 0%, 10%, 20% and 30%, respectively.
