ABSTRACT
Nano(neuro)medicine, application of nanotechnology to medicine in clinical neurosciences, is presented in terms of its impact on the diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, i.e., Alzheimer’s Disease (AD), Parkinson’s Disease (PD), multiple sclerosis, Human Immunodefi ciency Virus (HIV)-associated Central Nervous System (CNS) diseases, CNS neoplasms, and other CNS disorders (Fig. 12.1) (Kanwar et al. 2012).
