ABSTRACT

The full energy of the particle falls due to the dissipation, and the outer force is not influenced when the period is far from resonance. In small distance of the resonance, the system is determined by the equation of nonlinear resonance. The capture into resonance is involved by passing through a separatrix for the equation of nonlinear resonance. The problem is to determine the trajectories that will be captured into the resonance and the trajectories that will pass through the resonance layer. The capture is allowed due to a gap between separatrices for dissipative equation for nonlinear resonance. The capture into resonance at the resonant level of energy En, mk can be realized if the dissipation of the energy does not exceed the increasing of the energy due to the force.
