ABSTRACT

INTRODUCTION Th e notion of evidence-based education is not a new idea in academic settings. However, it seems the culture of using education research evidence to inform teaching is still developing in academic institutions. Quality of education research and diffi culty in locating the evidence are considered to be the factors hindering the development of evidence-based education.1 Th e purpose of this chapter is to review the recent radiography education research literature, with the outcomes informing radiography educators on some better (evidence-based) strategies applicable to their daily teaching. Further research directions are also provided for them to engage in the higher level of evidence-based education practice, i.e. evidence establishment when such evidence is unavailable.1
