ABSTRACT
This paper describes recent collaborations between Herzog & de Meuron and Arup. The common theme is integration of engineering and architecture and the use of structural concrete to define the architecture. Each project has a dedicated response to the climate and the location and relies on the structural solution, integrated with holistic building engineering to provide architectural solutions.
