ABSTRACT

No business venture can operate successfully without ensuring the safety of all persons involved in performing work. To that end, businesses need to modify their working environments to meet their needs and expectations and, first and foremost, rule out, mitigate or optimize the impact of any deleterious, hazardous and other untoward factors. Their reward for doing so is a safer workplace. Just as importantly, they need to incentivize their workers to modify their behaviors (Genaidy et al., 2007, Helund, 2016).
