Empowerment for women riverside farmers: Workplace health promotion at Northeast of Brazil

The local search for the quality of life seems to permeate the reality of all sectors of Brazilian workers. However, problems arise and lead to health need for more effective insertion of such public health in those cases. The country population is highlighted in search of decent basic health since, in most cases, suffers by poor working conditions that, of course, require a lot of physical conditions (Peres, 2009).
