Relationship between production cycles and noise patterns in loading and transport operations in quarries

The need to increase productivity led to the use of larger equipment in aggregates production industry, in particular in recent decades. This has given rise to increased noise levels as the registered in a case study carried out in Turkey (Sensogut, 2007). This study confirms the relationship of noise levels that occur during drilling, excavation, loading and transport work, with productivity, given the high rate of hearing loss, permanent or temporary.
