Advancements in three-piece freight bogies for increasing axle load up to 27 t

ABSTRACT: The aim of the research is to analyze the possibility to improve three-piece bogies in order to increase axle load up to 27 t without causing excessive track damage. This paper considers the effect of variation three-piece bogie’s basic parameters on forces acting on the track.
