ABSTRACT
Glycomimetics, also referred to as sugar mimetics, are analogs of carbohydrates. They range from compounds where a nitrogen (iminosugars) or a sulfur molecule is substituted for oxygen to more complex structures that include “tags” for “click chemistry.”
