ABSTRACT

Ethics is the branch of philosophy that seeks to guide and resolve issues of human morality. Ethics helps to define concepts such as good and evil, right and wrong, virtue and vice, justice and crime within a specific realm of human enterprise. Professional organizations usually operationalize the concepts that guide practice with a document called a Code of Ethics. The wide scope of the work that engineers can engage in affects individuals at all levels of society and daily life, so professional engineering also has a code of ethics. A successful outcome for the client will be the actual measure of a successful AT evaluation and treatment intervention. Sometimes a positive outcome is easy to achieve and measure; at other times, reaching a client's goal demands complex solutions and months or longer to achieve. The model is in the shape as a pie chart with three sections enclosed within a square that represents “Context”.
