ABSTRACT
This chapter considers aspects of structure and reactivity of peroxocomplexes of three transition metal ions with the d0 configuration (V(V), Mo(VI), and W(VI)). Their importance in both chemical and biological systems, such as industrial and enzymatic catalysis, will be discussed.
