ABSTRACT

The work studies fire-extinguishing aerosols from the perspective of human safety. Key parameters are toxic effect and optical transparency. Calculations and experimental evaluation techniques are provided. The particle size of the solid dispersion phase of the fire-extinguishing aerosol, its change during filtration, the impact of particle size on optical transparency, and efficiency of fire-extinguishing are investigated.
