ABSTRACT
The topic of light-matter interaction with nanoscale particles has a long history, and it is of a fundamental importance for research in different areas of optical physics. By taking advantage of the rapid progress in nanoscience and nanotechnology, many types of nanoparticles, e.g., metallic, dielectric, and semiconductor have been fabricated being widely used for applications including sensing, solar cells, and optical communications.
