ABSTRACT

The mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is an infrastructureless, autonomous, and dynamic topology-based network. The nature of the network is dynamic. So in this network, several types of interferences are raised. Hence, the result degrades the performance of the network. So in this paper, an intelligent technique is proposed for handling interference and increasing network lifetime. The main work of the paper is to increase network lifetime with the help of fuzzy logic. This fuzzy logic works with several types of membership functions along with some variables. The nature of this variable is linguistic, which helps behave several optimizations. This optimization is based on the LINGO software. This software is used to optimize both linear and nonlinear parameters. It helps formulate several network parameters with fuzzy membership function. It helps model this function into terms with network lifetime and enhance the metrics.
