ABSTRACT

Ours is a connected world, and a dependent world. The condition and livelihood of any organization is dependent on the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of information obtained from or protected from other sources. Today, organizations are at greater risk and their security stance against malicious actors, in the form of individuals, criminal cartels, terrorists, or nation-states, will affect the well-being of many persons, other companies, and perhaps the nation. These organizations often depend upon cyberspacehundreds of millions of interconnected computers, servers, routers, switches, and fiberoptic cables that allow our critical infrastructures to work.1
