ABSTRACT

The plans for the physical arrangement of the pediatric and congenital interventional catheterization laboratory, and the equipment used in these laboratories, including the rationale for its use and its proper use, are gleaned from the experience of the author1 during 45 years of practice in both his own and many other catheterization laboratories around the world.This author also has been a principal participant in the design and construction of 14 different catheterization laboratories in the various institutions where he has practiced.
