ABSTRACT
Introduction Cerebral palsy is a non-progressive disorder of movement and posture, which is caused by damage to the developing central nervous system either antenatally or perinatally.
It is the commonest cause of childhood motor disability with an incidence of around 2 per 1000 live births in developed countries.
