ABSTRACT
It is not uncommon for a cancer of the uterus or cervix to be identified inadvertently after a vaginal hysterectomy or laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH). Although this circumstance is often the result of incomplete primary assessment, it will happen in the bestregulated circumstances.
