ABSTRACT
In the previous chapter various aspects of adrenal morphology and physiological function, and the way in which these contribute to the gland’s susceptibility to toxins, were discussed. In this chapter the actions and metabolism of adrenal hormones, together with the pathology and pharmacology of the gland, will be described.
