ABSTRACT
There has been a carers group for younger people with dementia for over five years at Carisbrooke, Manchester. The carers attending this group have helped to explain why this is a valuable part of service delivery and their comments are in italics. Following on from this, there is a practical guide to setting up groups of this nature.
