ABSTRACT
The Assisted Reproductive Therapy (ART) providers are now more than ever conscious of the importance of Quality Management Systems (QMS) within their business operations. In Australia alone, three practices have embraced a QMS based upon the new ISO 9001:2000 Standard in the past 12 months. Practices are finding that they have been able to measure benefits to their businesses directly related to their QMS. To maximize potential gains within any business operation, it is imperative that practitioners understand the real value of a QMS.
