ABSTRACT
The results of assisted reproductive techniques (ART) are directly related to the nuclear and cytoplasmic maturation of the gamete cells. Nuclear or cytoplasmic defects may reflect certain morphological features in the gametes. However, to date, there have been few reports regarding the characteristics of embryos that were developed f rom morphologically abnormal oocyte or spermatozoa.
