ABSTRACT

I. INTRODUCTION The basic goal of all research is to build on an existing understanding of why the body is designed to function in a specific way. This is essential to understanding why the body begins to fail (i.e., prone to cancer, choking, myositis, tendenitis, voiding dysfunction, or other). However, there are times when we encounter a roadblock in our attempts to understand problems. In situations such as this an insight of how to proceed can be gleaned by reflection on the past (1,2). Through a better appreciation of the body design, we can develop better directional concepts as to therapy.
