ABSTRACT
To avoid excess scarring, fixation below the dermis of tissue grafted into a subcutaneous pocket requires suturing through a small operative field. In such operations, it is usually difficult to knot the suture firmly and ensure firm fixation of the graft. Therefore, we have devised a method that enables the surgeon to fix tissue grafted beneath the skin firmly in place from outside the body without making any additional skin incisions.
