ABSTRACT
In everyday dermatological practice, it is relatively common to find vascular anomalies in the oral mucosa. These lesions vary in clinical importance from small hemangiomas and innocuous vascular ectasia to severe arterial vascular malformations. Transfixion is a simple method for treating vascular anomalies of the oral mucosa that produces good results with low morbidity at a minimum cost.
